ABOUT THE COMPANIES
Gauge and StockUp are both start-up companies in the used automobile industry and are based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gauge is for consumers, and provides them with resources and online tools to make selling their used vehicles easier. StockUp is for used car dealers and offers them a straightforward online bidding process, and also takes care of the paperwork and transportation.
SOLUTION
Gauge’s logo design is minimal and modern, with an icon of a car gauge, and lowercase type. Illustrations and icons for the site were designed in a similar flat, outlined style. A dark blue and purple were chosen as the brand’s primary colors in order to stand out from their competition, who primarily use lighter and warmer colors in their branding.
